The Creeping Willow Crop

Welcome to the Weaving Witch

This was one of my first designs and I am so proud of it. The creeping willow crop has a gorgeous lace design that is great for layering. Wear it in the summer time with a bralette or crop top or in the colder months paired with a long sleeve. This design will give any wardrobe an edge. It’s beginner friendly so give it a shot!

If you would like a more detailed and ad free copy, you can purchase it in my Ravelry or Etsy shops

Repeat Row 2 until you’ve reached desired length approx. (25, 26, 27,28, 29, 30, 31) times. Or until you’ve reached your desired length. Fasten off, leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembly

Do this for each half: Sl yarn into Row 1 st 1, then ch 1, Sc across (16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34)

Fasten off, leave long tail for sewing.

Now attach the Sc row that you just made to other half. This should leave a hole for your neck and head.

Now sew up the sides, leaving enough space for your arms (from shoulder approx.: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 inches), you may also measure your arm and use that as a to come through.

Edging

Arm holes:

Count down 7 rows from the top of the shoulder and sl in yarn,

* Sk one row and into the next row 5DC into the same stitch, sk one row and slst into next * rep 6 times.

There should be 3 on the front part of the top and 3 on the back

Neck hole:

Slip into neckline along the shoulder

*Sk about 2 sts, 5Dc all into next st, sk 2 st, slst into next * rep until you’ve done the entire neckline front and back.

Fasten off, sew in ends, ENJOY!
